Congratulations to the FBLA Regional Winners!

FBLA advisers, Mrs. Mason and Ms. Sparrow, and 14 FBLA students traveled to Thomas Edison High School for the 2024 FBLA Regional Leadership Conference on January 26th. 15 students competed in 17 events at the Regional Leadership Conference. Six students earned regional awards and 9 students placed top 5 in their event. Below is the list of Falls Church's students who placed Top 5 in their event:

• Aryan Mendes - 1st place in Computer Problem Solving & 5th place in Introduction to Information Technology
• Jessica Nguyen-Tran- 1st Place in Public Service Announcement
• Widad Khalid -3rd place in Business Communication & 4th place in Agribusiness
• Shri Bala- 1st place in Public Service Announcement & 5th place in Agribusiness
• Alexandra Vo- 4th place in Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership
• Benita Xavier -2nd place in Economics & 3rd place in Networking Infrastructures
• Hang Tang - 2nd place in Computer Applications
• Leon Chakmakian - 4th place in Sports & Entertainment Management
• Leonardo Pena - 4th place in Sports & Entertainment Management

Jessica, Hang, Widad, Benita, Shri, and Aryan qualify for the FBLA States and will be competing on April 12th and April 13th in Reston, Virginia!
