The Falls Church's American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) Chapter was nominated for the Honor Award. The officers submitted an extensive portfolio to the AIA's Honor Awards Jury and were chosen amongst (An-Najah National University, Cal Poly, Montana State University, and UC Berkeley) to receive the Honor Award among 300 organizations (of which only 50 AIAS nominated).

FCHS's American Institute of Architecture Students' Chapter is a student-led organization with over 50 members that includes all grade levels representing Falls Church's diverse demographics.
