Congratulations to Rachel Olarinde for being recognized as employees who shows that FCPS Cares!

Below is a write up submitted by FCHS parent:

Ms. Olarinde is an exemplary teacher. She accommodates for students of many different learning styles, even within her honors classes. She is thorough in reviewing students' 504 plans and IEPs. My daughter felt so seen and so understood on the first day of school when Ms. Olarinde spoke to her privately about her 504 plan. She not only provided my child the accommodations listed, but even went above and beyond to make suggestions of other accommodations that may help her. Ms. Olarinde is a strong advocate of equity in the Falls Church school community. This year she exposed her classes to a variety of literature with diverse protagonists. My child and others in the class feel that their backgrounds and stories are honored in Ms. Olarinde's class when they read and discuss this diverse literature. I wanted to "shout-out" Ms. Olarinde for being a wonderful advocate for diverse learners and being a great support for my child, as well!
