Congratulations to Kyle Jimenez for being recognized as an employee who shows that FCPS Cares!

Kyle is our GCI Coordinator. She truly believes in helping all students earn a diploma and advocates on their behalf. The last student she helped to enroll at the Plum Center was late to meet her for her first class. Kyle was there to greet her and share a gift bag of goodies to get her on a good start. When the student was late, Kyle decided to follow the Fairfax Connector bus route that the student had planned to take. She found the student at a stop; she had gotten off the wrong stop. Kyle then proceeded to make the necessary arrangements to get the student to school, and, although late, she had her first day as planned. This is one of the countless times Kyle has gone above and beyond to support and encourage a student’s pursuit of a diploma.
