This month, all students in Mrs. Mason's three Cybersecurity Fundamentals classes had the opportunity to visit Arlington County Government's Department of Technology services. Students were able to tour their data center and learn about different aspects of the department's operations. The students were able to tour the facility and see one of the county's biggest board rooms. Students talked with Cybersecuity Specialists, Wireless Network Engineers, and Network Security Managers. The IT professionals shared some valuable information to students regarding their career paths, job duties, and desired skills needed for their job. Most importantly, students were able to engage in a Q&A session with professionals, where students were able to gain more knowledge in this career field.
